 Club members walked the banks of the river and cleared debris from fish passes/culverts above and below Anjou bridge, the bridge arches themselves were also cleared of debris to allow water to flow. One of the bridges crossing the channel connecting the old river and the canal section had been washed downstream, this was retrieved and placed on higher ground awaiting repairs. A large tree had fallen across the river just above Anjou bridge, this was cut back and significant progress made to clear the channel, it was identified that the remainder of the fallen tree would make a great piece of large woody debris and this will possibly be pinned to the bank to increase/divert flow at a later stage. Once work was complete a well deserved pint was had in the Fishermans Rest!
